It’s been a minute since I’ve pinged, so consider this my “ping”. I don’t know necessarily that I have anything of any importance to say, but I figured I’d should say something regardless of whether it’s important or not.

I can’t really think of anything of substance to really write about. I really just wanted to let the world know I’m still alive, even though my posting is becoming incredibly rare. I just don’t have that much time to update and post like I’d really prefer to. It’s crazy, too, because I have my laptop. I have a damn decent phone, even. There are so many avenues I could use to post regularly, but truly- The only reason I don’t is because I actually don’t have the time.

I’m watching the documentary “Navalny” right now, and I have to admit that it’s wild to see what it’s like to struggle against a dictator in a slavic nation. The atmosphere in which Navalny has had to operate is one of desperation. Putin has kept the Russian people “just sated enough” that they don’t openly rebel in the street, but then he brings charges against Navalny that are clearly just trying to silence him. It’s insane. It shows that Putin realizes that a true democracy would chew him up and spit him out nearly immediately. It’s weird to see parallels drawn between Navalny and Trump. Trump himself, in his quest to dominate the Republican sphere, has made himself an ally to white nationalists. Navalny admits in his documentary that he can’t afford to turn away an ally no matter how “unpalatable” their views may be. Trump, on the other hand, has spent most of his real estate career keeping black folks out of his tenements, so it’s not a stretch for him to rub elbows with racists. It’s just a strange dynamic to see unfold. I’m still trying to figure it all out.

“Rejection sensitivity” is the stated cause of people with borderline personality disorder being incapable of accepting criticism of any sort. In effect, they’re reduced to the emotional capacity of toddlers. This means that any interaction involving any sentiment that could be perceived as or construed as negative will likely evoke a strong negative emotional response from those with BPD.

The amount of time and effort I’ve invested in my home network, home entertainment, and computer equipment; It’s getting harder and harder to leave my safe little cocoon. I’ve put together a rock solid home network setup that rivals commercial deployments, thanks to Ubiquiti. The TV’s in the house are also all decent sized. The living room TV is no longer paired with the tinny, little awful speakers installed in the unit itself. Instead we get TV audio through SPDIF, fed from a Topping DX3 Pro+ into a Schit Vidar and pair of reference Klipsch speakers. My M1 Mac Mini pushes video to any screen via plex, connected to a 12TB powerhouse of an external drive. I have multiple raspberry pi devices connected, performing various tasks through the house as needed. There are two smart vacuums keeping the floors as pretty as possible. The house is fully nested. It’s smart. It’s comfortable. If anything, it makes leaving the house more difficult than it should be.

I’ve felt the need to write something, to simply say something, but I’ve written and re-written a few posts already. It seems like I can’t find words that fit what I feel. I guess I really haven’t sat down and unraveled the mystery of exactly what it is that I’m feeling. That might be the reason it feels like everything I’ve sat down to write doesn’t fit what I want to express. I might not really know what I need to express right now.

Holy shit I’ve been busy lately. Haven’t had a lot of time to catch up with you fuckers. So how’ve you been? What’s new? Everything good? Yeah, I don’t fucking know. Everything is crazy. It looks like we’re exiting “pandemic” status and starting a new era of “Coronavirus is here to stay”. Plus we’re about to see the largest economic bubble explode, rendering everyone much poorer. Oh, and don’t forget Vladamir Putin annexing Ukraine and igniting world war three. Good times. Good times, indeed. I dunno about you, but I’ve been distracting myself with spending time with loved ones, beer, and copious amounts of weed.

Kanye West has lost his goddamn mind. He really thinks Pete Davidson wants to be his kids’ new daddy? Fucking really? This guy has absolutely gone off the deep end. He has absolutely lost his mind. Kanye must have zero experience with divorce. Not only that, but this dumb motherfucker is blaming Pete for wooing Kim when the only person who fucked Kanye over was Kanye. Dumb son of a bitch couldn’t keep Kim happy and is blaming everyone BUT HIMSELF for the situation. GROW UP, KANYE. You whiny little millionaire bitch. No one feels bad for you. Everyone wants you to shut the fuck up and grow a pair of testicles. Holy freaking crap it’s annoying. And I’ll say the exact same shit to any man going through a divorce who was the sole reason they’re going through said divorce, because they need to hear it. Otherwise they’re just going to repeat the same mistakes over and over again. Kanye is going to repeat the same mistakes over and over again because he’s paying his friend circle to kiss his ass, he’s not paying them to be real with him.
