The anxiety is running high. We’re careening headfirst into the next chapter of this nation, and the next few days will determine whether we begin to heal as a nation or we continue to scratch our heads in wonder at how people can unapologetically support fascism and the destruction of our constitution. It’s also really interesting when people call descriptions such as mine ‘hyperbole’ when constitutional scholars are aghast by Trump’s time in office. But that’s the lowest common denominator; the one with no respect for their betters. The fool who dropped out of school in the eighth grade and thinks he knows better than doctors, refusing to wear masks, asserting his ‘rights’ everywhere and that everyone else are merely sheep. Scum, completely unredeemable scum.

Anxiety
I feel like there’s an air of general unease everywhere right now. You have the ultra-capitalist fruitloops regarding human lives as expendable fuel for a thriving economy, and you have individuals who just want to exist without failed leadership completely ignoring the health and welfare of the general public. Both sides are deeply carved out in how they’re voting, and polling indicates Biden has a lead, but I’m not entirely sure we can trust polling anymore after 2016. Things are insane, to say the least.
Holy Shit
You know the Trump GOP is a cult when their dear leader can downplay the danger of a disease for months and then contract the disease and the followers still say “MASKS ARE OPPRESSION”. Just so fucking stupid. These people are literally too stupid to live.
I can believe Trump contracted COVID with how stupid he’s been about wearing masks. Even when he started wearing a mask it was only for show. What I can’t believe is that he’s going to come out of it unscathed. I highly doubt he’s going to survive, and I don’t feel bad for him or his shit family. I don’t feel bad for the idiots who worship Trump, either. Their dear leader is trash. They’re dumb. No pity required.
What still throws me for a loop, though, is that he can do such incredibly stupid shit and still have shitheels kissing the ground he walks on. There’s nothing redeemable about a person who doesn’t see Trump as the biggest idiot ever now that he’s contracted COVID. If you are one such person, it may be time for you to reevaluate your life.
Even with the best treatment available in modern medicine, a septegenarian doesn’t have the best odds in surviving COVID.
How have we fallen so far from grace? Why are there so many idiots here? How can we do better? Christ.
Cult of Personality
How did we get here? I find myself asking that question over and over. It’s almost a daily reflection for me. How did Harvey Weinstein vicitimize women for thirty years? How did Jeffrey Epstein turn sex trafficking into a cottage industry? How did Trump maintain his personality cult across thirty allegations of sexual impropriety? The truth nearly seems stranger than fiction. At least, to me.
I’ve always been an incredibly defiant person. I buy heavily into the “No gods, no masters” mantra, and I feel as though we’re the masters of our own destiny. But that isn’t true for my peers. If they were to see a famous person in person, all bets would be off the table, and many of them would cease to be the same individual. The truth is that the “rockstar effect” is killing society.

Cult
I don’t feel as though I truly captured the issues at hand with the current “Trump2020” movement. So here goes nothing.
In my previous incredibly inebriated post I made a piss poor attempt to compare the mentality of Trump supporters to those in an abusive cult. I still stand by this statement, but I don’t feel as though I did a very good job explaining why. First and foremost, let me say that people don’t have to justify what they feel, think, say, or do. Not to me, not to themselves, not to anyone. Sometimes people do shit for no reason whatsoever. That said, when people choose a political movement, there’s almost always a relatively strong reasoning behind it. I’m going to dissect “Trump2020” now.
Bruce Aylward is a Coward
Background:
Figured I’d give my two cents, since a portion of the news made it into a funny clip I posted. Here goes.
Bruce Aylward is a fucking coward. He’s a spineless sack of dicks with Chinese aristrocracy’s hand up his ass, moving his mouth. He’s a tool. Absolutely worthless. Facts don’t care about his feelings, nor do facts give a rat’s ass about how badly he doesn’t want to piss off his overlords. Seriously. Fuck this guy. I wouldn’t believe a word coming out of his lying mouth at any point. I don’t think a person can get more useless than he has been. I’ve watched that clip over and over and it’s painfully obvious he isn’t even man enough to simply admit that he’s a pawn of the communist party. He can’t admit that Taiwan deserves its independence. Bruce is basically the Democrat version of Trump. Stupid, biased, and for sale to the highest bidder. Fucking tool. I hope he catches Corona and doesn’t survive.
Bootlickers
It’s funny to me how Republicans “spin” their narrative. “The State”, “The Fed”, nearly any entity aside from a corporate monopoly is viewed as an oppressive body. The narrative gets spun out to look enticing to people who are unfamiliar with their own financial burdens. It lines up completely with the self-oppressing Christian mentality. “I saddled myself with my own woes. I’m my own worst enemy. It’s my fault that I am where I am.” They also, to some minor extent, feel like they’re masters of their own destiny. And minor it is. They have some sway in their own story, but there’s far greater propensity for a fall than there is any sort of rise. Any minor misstep can catapult one of these people into an even more severe poverty than they’re already experiencing. Their station in life is as a footstool for the wealthy. We’re all assigned that role, but they absolutely love it. They don’t even see their own role as being one of “footstool”, but as a “foundational contributor to capitalism”, which is very far from any truth. The narratives spun are crafted in such a way that everyone making less than $250k annually supports all US infrastructure, rather than the 50,000 or so millionaires or billionaires sitting on hoarded wealth. The sad reality is that the Republican spin is an incredibly intuitive story used to rope in 200 million voters to support fifty thousand rich assholes.
