So the ex said to me not too long ago: “I’ve been discussing with my therapist and she thinks it might be ASD and not BPD”. Pretty sure I mentioned this here. It’s been rubbing me the wrong way for a minute. She was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder a minimum of twice so far. The diagnosis is spot on. It’s absolutely a believable diagnosis, if not obvious to even non-medical people. My wife is adding psych to her master’s degree via a certificate, so she’s clinically equipped to spot this stuff and she says that my ex is one of the worst borderlines she’s seen.
