First and foremost, I’m going to get this out of the way: I have zero respect for how the Chinese government represents the Chinese people on the world stage. I’d go so far as to outright say that the Chinese government cannot represent the people of China in any way, shape, or form, because they’re not capable of choosing who represents them in government.
That said, I’d like to chat about an article I just saw. This one. The title reads: “China’s loans pushing world’s poorest countries to bring of collapse”. I think what irks me most is that people don’t care about the fact that we’ve piggybacked off of China for half a century. We’ve had them do our bitchwork for next to nothing in compensation. But the little in compensation they got earned them more rights to produce more cheap goods for us to consume. The more China produced for us, the more we outright relied on their capacity, and the more they were able to charge for these formerly cheaper goods.
China is absolutely a problem, but anyone who believes the US isn’t a major contributor is either a moron or has an agenda.
That article is pure propaganda. It irks me. I’m irked. I hate it.
